Arkansas Tech University concluded the fall portion of its 2016-17 men’s golf schedule by finishing tied for 11th among a field of 18 teams at the Midwestern State University Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
The Wonder Boys posted team scores of 309-314-296 for a 54-hole total of 919 at Wichita Falls Country Club in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Austin Smith was Tech’s top individual finisher. He earned a share of 14th place with rounds of 77-76-71 for a 224 total.
Luke Cornett (T-22nd, 82-76-68-226), Putter Srinoon (T-59th, 75-80-80-235), Jay Trusty (T-59th, 75-80-80-235) and Ryan Spurlock (T-88th, 83-84-79-246) also represented the Wonder Boys in Wichita Falls.
Arkansas Tech will continue its 2016-17 men’s golf season during the spring 2017 semester.
