Watch Inside the NFL Feature at Doc Bryan

Arkansas Tech University will host an opportunity for members of the campus community to watch a Showtime “Inside the NFL” feature story about the Wonder Boys football program when it debuts at 8 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

The public viewing will take place in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.

The feature will tell the story of the 2015 Wonder Boys football season, a season that they dedicated to the late Zemaric Holt.

Holt, a junior psychology student and defensive lineman from Quincy, Fla., drowned in a swimming accident on Sunday, July 19, 2015.

He had been a student and member of the football program at Arkansas Tech since 2012. He redshirted with the Wonder Boys in 2012 before playing in 2013 and 2014. Holt appeared in 18 career games at Arkansas Tech and made 29 career tackles, including 4.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 quarterback sacks.

In the first play from scrimmage of the first game of the 2015 season, Arkansas Tech lined up with just 10 players on defense as a tribute to their fallen teammate. The Wonder Boys recovered a fumble for a touchdown on that play, and a video highlight of the play attracted more than 1 million views on YouTube.

A film crew from “Inside the NFL” visited the Arkansas Tech campus the next week and has made a subsequent visit to Russellville to gain additional footage and interviews for the piece that will air on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

“Inside the NFL” is an Emmy award-winning television program hosted by Adam Schein with analysts Phil Simms, Boomer Esiason and Brandon Marshall.
