Arkansas Tech University is ranked No. 14 in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll of 2017.
The Golden Suns completed the season 35-1 overall. They were regular season and postseason tournament champions of the Great American Conference, and they made the fifth NCAA Division II Tournament appearance in ATU volleyball history.
The 2017 Arkansas Tech volleyball team established new program records for longest winning streak (35 matches), best start to a season (35-0), best winning percentage in a season (.972) and highest national ranking (No. 8 in the Nov. 20 poll).
