Cua’ Rose of Arkansas Tech University was named Great American Conference defensive player of the week in recognition of his performance in the Wonder Boys’ 26-3 win at Henderson State University on Saturday, Sept. 9.
Rose tied the GAC and ATU records for most interceptions in a game with three. His play helped Arkansas Tech (2-0) earn its first victory over the Reddies since 2009.
The nationally 19th-ranked Wonder Boys will host Oklahoma Baptist University for a 6 p.m. GAC game at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field in Russellville on Saturday, Sept. 16.
