Arkansas Tech University’s nine-game winning streak has been rewarded with the No. 16 position in the USA Today Sports NCAA Division II women’s basketball top 25 poll released on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
The Golden Suns (15-2 overall, 13-0 Great American Conference) moved up five spots from last week.
Arkansas Tech has been ranked in each of the 10 USA Today Sports NCAA Division II women’s basketball polls so far this season. Its highest ranking thus far during 2015-16 was No. 15 in the poll released on Nov. 24.
Head coach Dave Wilbers and the Golden Suns will go on the road to face Oklahoma Baptist University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, and Southern Nazarene Univeresity at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Radio station KCJC 102.3 FM and www.arkansastechsports.com will have live coverage of both games.
