Harding University defeated Arkansas Tech University 8-1 in Great American Conference tennis at Burns Park in North Little Rock on Monday.
The match closed out the regular season portion of the Golden Suns’ schedule.
Arkansas Tech (15-7 overall, 3-3 GAC) will be the No. 3 seed in the GAC Tournament, which begins on Thursday, April 20, in Bentonville.
The Golden Suns’ first-round opponent will be No. 6 seed Ouachita Baptist University (0-16, 0-6). The match is scheduled to begin at noon Thursday.
The GAC Tournament will continue through Saturday, April 22.
