Arkansas Tech University finished seventh among a field of 16 women’s golf teams at the 2018 St. Edward’s University Invitational at Onion Creek Country Club in Austin, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday.
The Golden Suns posted team scores of 319 and 304 for a 623 total. Tarleton State University won the team title with a two-day score of 606.
Pia Nunbhakdi was Tech’s top individual finisher. She shot 77-75. Her 152 total was good for 11th place.
Peerada Piddon (T-23rd, 78-79-157), Avery Struck (T-29th, 81-77-158), Allie Weiner (T-37th, 87-73-160) and Makenzie Douglas (T-55th, 83-82-165) also represented the Golden Suns in Austin.
Arkansas Tech will compete in the Southern Nazarene University Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational March 5-6 in Oklahoma City.
