Arkansas Tech University’s Caroline Fredensborg and Bryce Burke wrapped up the 2015-16 athletic season for the Golden Suns and Wonder Boys by competing in the NCAA Division II Golf Championships, which concluded on Saturday, May 21.
Fredensborg posted scores of 79-74-73-79 for a four-day total of 305 and a share of 39th place in the final individual standings. The women’s championship was contested at CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora, Colo.
At nearby Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver, Colo., Burke finished tied for 81st in the men’s championship. He shot 76-77-74 for a 54-hole total of 227.
Fredensborg is a junior from Roskilde, Denmark, while Burke is a freshman from Johannesburg, South Africa.
