22 Up, 22 Down for ATU Volleyball

Nationally 16th-ranked Arkansas Tech University earned a pair of straight sets, non-conference volleyball wins at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville on Tuesday.

ATU defeated Central Baptist College 25-13, 25-11, 25-11 on Tuesday afternoon before earning a 25-13, 25-17, 25-15 win over Lyon College on Tuesday evening.

Rilie Vote notched 10 kills in Tech’s victory over Central Baptist.

Kenzie Dozier (15 kills) and Tabitha Spray (11 kills) led the Suns’ attack against Lyon. Emily Acker notched 36 assists and five service aces. Madison Nagel had 21 digs.

The Golden Suns (22-0) will host Southwestern Oklahoma State University at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, and Northwestern Oklahoma State University at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, in Great American Conference action at Tucker Coliseum. Admission will be free.
