ASBTDC Announces May Seminars

The regional office of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center, which is located in Rothwell Hall at Arkansas Tech, has announced ten seminars that are planned for the month of May.  The seminars cover a variety of topics ranging from Facebook to creating a marketing plan.

The following seminars will be offered:

  • Low Cost Marketing Techniques– Tuesday, May 11, 2-5 p.m., Clarksville Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $30.  Instructor is Cass Capen-Housley, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • How to Write a Business Plan– Wednesday, May 12, 2-5 p.m., Morrilton Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $30.  Instructor is Jim Reser, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • Low Cost Marketing Techniques– Friday, May 14, 1-4 p.m., Russellville Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $30.  Instructor is Cass Capen-Housley, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • Low Cost Marketing Techniques– Tuesday, May 18, 2-5 p.m., Morrilton Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $30.  Instructor is Cass Capen-Housley, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • Facebook Lunch and Learn– Wednesday, May 19, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Lake Point Conference Center; Cost is $35.  Instructor is Cass Capen-Housley, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • Low Cost Marketing Techniques– Tuesday, May 20, 2-5 p.m., Arkansas Tech- Ozark Campus; Cost is $30.  Instructor is Cass Capen-Housley, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • How and the Why to a Marketing Plan– Friday, May 21, 1-4 p.m., Arkansas Tech University Rothwell Hall Room 217; Cost is $30.  Instructor is Cass Capen-Housley, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
  • Starting a Business in Arkansas– Tuesday, May 25, 2-5 p.m., Morrilton Chamber of Commerce; Cost is $30.  Instructor is Cass Capen-Housley, Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.

Additionally, National Small Business Week runs May 23-29, and the ASBTDC will present two sessions commemorating the week.
