Tailgating will be front and center on Saturday at Centennial Plaza during the Party at the Plaza.
The party begins at noon and will feature several reunion groups taking part in the tailgating:
- Alumni Gold (Class of 1965)
- 25 Year Reunion (Class of 1990)
- 10 Year Reunion (Class of 2005)
- 1950s & 1960s
- Young Alumni (2005-2015)
- Alumni Chapters
- College of Education
- T-Club
- Greek Life
- College of Business
- Parks, Rec, & Hospitality Admin.
During the event, Tech fans in attendance will enjoy complimentary music and inflatable games.
Chartwells, the food service provider at Arkansas Tech, will offer a pre-game tailgating meal that will include tailgating staples. The meal will be available for purchase, and students with a meal plan may enjoy the meal for one swipe.
Students, alumni and friends can show their school spirit by being photographed on the green carpet with Jerry the Bulldog. Jerry will be at a tent during the festivities so fans can have their photo taken with him. Participants photographed with Jerry have the opportunity to win a campus stadium blanket.
Prior to the start of the game, fans will be able to purchase Arkansas Tech apparel from the bookstore location inside the stadium.
Pregame festivities will begin at 2:30 p.m., and the football game against Ouachita Baptist University will begin at 3 p.m.
